Olive Oil has a long history and has been used by humans as far back as 8,000 BC. It is an amazing all-rounder that is good for almost everything, skin, hair, and diet.
Hands, Cuticles and Nails
For ragged cuticles and brittle nails, soak your nails in a small bowl of warm olive oil. This can help nails become more resilient and soften cuticles. To soften your hands, smooth on a generous amount of olive oil each day or at night pop on a pair of cotton gloves after application.
Face & Lips
Whenever your face needs softening and moisturizing, massage a small amount of olive oil into your skin, applying extra oil to rough or cracked areas, including dry and cracked lips. Dab a little olive oil on a cotton pad to remove makeup and mascara!
Add a few tablespoons of olive oil to your bath water to soften skin and it can also be used as a shaving oil.
Simply rub a few drops of oil onto baby's head and massage with your fingers or a cradle cap brush. Rinse the oil off with a gentle baby shampoo and brush again.
