Description

Nytol One-A-Night is a clinically proven sleep aid that helps you drift off, sleep soundly and wake up refreshed after a full nights sleep. Nytol contains a commonly used antihistamine called diphenhydramine hydrochloride, this helps reduce alertness and promotes that first drowsy stage of sleep, easing you into a more restful, deeper sleep.

DIRECTIONS: Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Do not take Nytol for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor. Elderly patients should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.

DOSAGE:

Adults aged 18 years and over: Swallow 1 tablet with water 20 minutes before you go to bed.
Do not use in children or adolescents under the age of 18 years

DO NOT USE:

If you have ever had an allergic reaction to diphenhydramine hydrochloride or to any of the other ingredients
If you have low salt levels in your body (e.g. low level of potassium or of magnesium.
If you have an obstruction in your stomach or gut or if you are taking certain medicines for heart rhythm problems or medicines that may affect the heart rhythm.
Do not use other antihistamines together with these tablets, including those used on the skin, or in cough and cold medicines

IMPORTANT
This product should only be used when clearly necessary.
IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ADVICE SHOULD BE SOUGHT IN THE EVENT OF OVERDOSAGE EVEN IF YOU FEEL WELL. PLEASE READ THE ENCLOSED LEAFLET CAREFULLY.

If symptoms persist. Prolonged use without medical supervision may be harmful.

​IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT NYTOL 50MG TABLETS

Each tablet contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride 50mg
Nytol should not be taken during pregnancy or when breast feeding. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines or receiving regular treatment.
Do not drink alcohol while using these tablets. Do not drive or operate machinery. These tablets are intended to produce sleepiness or drowsiness soon after the dose is taken.
Like all medicines, Nytol can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If you think you have any side effects or symptoms, stop using this medicine immediately and see a doctor as soon as possible.
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.
Do not take these tablets in the 3 days before skin tests for allergies. They may interfere with the results.
ALWAYS keep out of reach and sight of children.
