Nicorette Invisipatch Extra Strength 25mg STEP 1 – 7 Patches

Nicorette Invisipatch Extra Strength 25mg patches are Step 1 in a 12 week nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) programme. They are a once daily patch used to relieve withdrawal symptoms and reduce the cravings for nicotine that you get when you try to stop smoking. 

When you apply a Nicorette Invisipatch to the skin, nicotine is released gradually over 16 hours and passes into your body through the skin relieving the unpleasant nicotine withdrawal symptoms and your cravings to smoke.

For smokers of more than 20 a day:

STEP 1: Begin treatment with the highest strength Nicorette Invisipatch 25mg the day after you stop smoking completely. Use a new Nicorette Invisipatch 25mg each day for eight weeks.

STEP 2: If you are successful and avoid smoking during this eight-week period, you should then begin to reduce the amount of nicotine you are getting by switching to a lower strength patch. Now use the Nicorette Invisipatch 15mg each day for two weeks.

STEP 3: If you are successful and avoid smoking over this two-week period, then switch to the lowest strength Nicorette Invisipatch 10mg each day for a further two weeks.

How to use: 

ADULTS AGED 18 YEARS AND OVER: 

Apply one new patch (of appropriate strength) to the skin when you wake up (usually in the morning).
Do not use more than one patch at a time.
Remove 16 hours later which is usually at bed time. Dispose of the patches carefully.
Adults aged 18 years and over should not use the patches for longer than 6 months in total without asking for help and advice from a doctor or pharmacist.

Do not take if you are allergic to nicotine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Do not use more than one patch at a time.
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, elderly, asthmatic, taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines or receiving regular treatment. 
Nicorette Invisi Patches should not be used during breast feeding.
