Anti-Hist Allergy Oral Solution 200ml

Description

Anti-Hist Allergy Oral Solution contains the antihistamine cetirizine dihydrochloride which offers relief from nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and itchy, red, and streaming eyes.

• Anti-Hist Allergy can also be used to relieve chronic nettle rash and hives (chronic idiopathic urticaria).
• Non-Drowsy formulation.
• Suitable for children from 2 years.

Directions: Take this medicine by mouth. Do not take for longer than 3 days. Anti-Hist Allergy oral solution is not suitable for children under 2 years of age.

Children aged 2 to 6 years: 2.5mg twice daily as 2.5ml oral solution (a half-measuring spoon) twice daily.
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5mg twice daily as 5ml (one full measuring spoon) twice daily.
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 10mg once daily as 10ml oral solution (2 full measuring spoons) once daily.

• Always read the patient information leaflet.
• Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you or your child are taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines, or receiving regular treatment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use if you are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride or any of the other ingredients or to hydroxyzine or piperazine derivatives (closely related active substances of other medicines)
• Do not exceed the stated dose, seek immediate medical advice in the event of an overdose.
• Does not cause drowsiness in the majority of people but care should be taken when driving or operating machinery. Please be careful if you drink alcohol during the use of this medicine, as it may increase the effects of alcohol.
• Like all medicines, Anti-Hist Allergy can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If you think you have any side effects or symptoms, stop using this medicine immediately and see a doctor as soon as possible.

Ingredients:

Contains Cetirizine Dihydrochloride 10mg per 10ml. Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), sorbitol solution at 70% (non-crystallising). (E420), glycerol, trisodium citrate (sodium citrate), citric acid, propylene glycol. Monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, purified water, pineapple No.1 (012080) flavour and Juicy Orange (SC406296) flavour.
